The Ubiquitous Day – a work of poetry

As Dreams shatter,

And the alarms go crazy,

The morning sun rises gracefully from the mist,

As breakfast makes its way up to the table,

And newspapers crash unto our doorsteps,

The morning breeze mesmerizes the entire city,

As birds end their endless chirping,

And the trees  go still and silent,

Morning turns into day,

As people hit the roads in a hurry,

And the small cafe is abuzz,

The sun glows in fury,

The sun glows in all its fury,

The sun glows and glows and glows,

Till the evening sky smiles across. 🙂
